For the past few years, filmmaker Justin Fielding has been working on a film documenting everybody’s favorite genre of music, power pop. Appropriately titled The Power Pop Movie, the film includes interview with notable artists including John Wicks of The Records. Other top artists include The Bangles, members of Badfinger, Blondie, Cheap Trick, Big Star and the list goes on and on.

Recently released, the new version of “Starry Eyes” (from the latest John Wicks and the records LP entitled Rotate) has been chosen to be featured within the movie. John is excited to be able to contribute to the film as we’ll be thrilled to hear/see it when release time comes.
